Travel and Accommodation Grants - UPDATED
The Conference Committee is offering a limited number of grants of between $100 and (now up to) $400 each, to assist family carers with the costs of travel and accommodation to attend the conference.
NOTE: GRANTS NOW AVAILABLE FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER. If you have previously applied for a grant for just one family member, you are able to now apply for grants for subsequent family members
- If you are travelling from QLD, Vic, NSW or ACT, grants of $100 are available (upon proof of expenditure of $200 or more).
- If you are travelling from Tas, SA or NT, grants of $300 per person are available (upon proof of expenditure of $400 or more).
- If you are travelling from WA, grants of $400 per person are available (upon proof of expenditure of $500 or more)

When completing the application, ensure that you satisfy the GRANT CONDITIONS listed BELOW.
Grant Conditions
You can apply for a Travel and Accommodation Grant if you satisfy the following criteria:
the Bryan Foundation; and
- You must be a family carer of a person with an eating disorder.
- You must be registered to attend both days of the conference.
- You must be an Australian resident.
You will be notified within 7 days if your travel grant application has been successful.
In the event that the number of applications received exceeds the number of grants available, the Conference Committee reserves the right to prioritise applications according to residential address of the applicant and date of receipt of registration.
The grants will be paid retrospectively – ie you cannot ask for the funds in advance. For successful applicants to receive their grant, proof of economy travel and accommodation expenditure totals (such as tax invoices, receipts or hotel booking confirmation) must be presented in person at the registration desk on Day 2 of the conference. A reimbursement will be paid by EFT into your bank account a short time after the conference.
